A WORD FROM YOUR BOARD
Little did we know that COVID-19 would change our behaviors forever - the way we shop, our expectations of service, the way we buy cars, search for new homes, and the way we bank. Convenience and ease of use are now a requirement for all businesses, including Park View. That's why in 2021, we added an appointment scheduling software to make it easier for you to connect with our team when and how you want. We also upgraded our mortgage software and streamlined the borrower experience from application to closing, adding an easy-to-use online application.
Growth Despite Uncertainty
2021 brought with it a recession and many economic uncertainties including supply chain disruptions, continued government assistance, and historically low interest rates. Despite all of this, I am pleased to announce that your credit union performed extremely well. In the past 20 months, Park View grew by 33%. In dollars, that is more than the previous four years combined! We saw growth in deposits (14%), loan production (63%), and new memberships. We wrapped up 2021 with an astonishing 25% in loan growth, thanks, in part, to our mortgage and business lending teams.
Staff Development
Over the past 5 years, we have been investing in our Park View team, with the goal of building leaders and preparing for the future. To date, 40 employees, representing almost half of the Park View team, completed LeaderXChange, a program designed around intentional growth through leadership mindset. Investing in our team allowed opportunities for team members to develop the leadership skills needed to fill many new positions that have been added to support the amazing growth we experienced in 2021.

Bright Future
We are excited about 2022 and all that is happening. Our current initiatives include enhancements to our online and mobile banking experience, new lending products, expanded business checking services, improving home equity and mortgage experiences, and moving into a new location in Broadway that includes a drive-thru!
