Director of Member Relations

As the Director of Member Relations, you would provide organizational leadership in creating an excellent member experience at Park View Federal Credit Union in the areas of sales, marketing, member service, member education, and business development. You would be responsible for leading member-service channels, such as branches, contact center, financial advisory services, and marketing. It would be important to keep your finger on the pulse of our members so that we can fulfill our mission of improving their financial lives. What makes them smile? What do they need? Is it easy to do business with us? How can we earn their trust and respect every day? How can we reach more members to achieve growth goals? This means that you need to be an exceptional leader with a passion for service, member education, financial wellness, and collaboration. It also means you need to have proven success in leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of managers to be the best they can be. You will be the face of PVFCU, and that means we want you to set a fantastic example of how to build relationships and enhance Park View’s already solid reputation.

As a leader, it’s important that you can set some action plans to reach personal and branch goals, and then get them done! Call it ambition, drive, or initiative—a healthy dose of all would be great. It’s also important to have business know-how, with an interest in data analytics, reports, measurements, and the bottom line.

What else does it take to be a Director?

  • A Bachelor’s degree – Master’s degree preferred!
  • At least five years of senior level leadership experience.
  • Experience in sales and marketing, with a solid understanding of business fundamentals, creative ideas and a passion to try new things.
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial products and services is a big plus! This includes sound management of personal finances too.
  • Ability to enhance the professional skills of your team through example and coaching.
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate with other leaders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong connections within the community and church groups.
