Full-Time Member Advisor

As a Member Advisor you would work directly with Park View members on a wide variety of services, advising them how to best use our products and services to meet their personal financial goals.  You would help them with transactions, open new accounts, work with them on loans, direct them to our mortgage and investment services, and be their ‘Go-To’ person for any financial questions.  We want you to build relationships with our members so when they have a financial need, they think of you first—because you have already shown them you are an active listener and can help solve their problems.   We expect every member to have a great experience when they work with a Member Advisor and in order to do this, you’ll need to learn a lot about our products and services to help the member reach their goals.  We have a great training program in place to get you there as quickly as possible, but it will take a lot of effort on your part.

We are looking for someone who loves to make people happy—especially our Park View Members.  They are a great group, and we want someone who will give them an extra smile during their day.

We are also looking for someone who will enhance our already great work environment—someone who loves working as a team, learning new things, being creative, solving problems, working hard, and having fun while doing so.

What else does it take to be a Member Advisor?

  • Six months to two years of related experience.  This might be working in any kind of retail establishment or customer service position.
  • Ability to be flexible with hours and days off.  We try our best to accommodate your needs, but we need to be fully staffed and ready to serve members Monday through Saturday.  Our full-time work week is around 40 hours.
  • A college education – Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly, interpret policies and procedures, retain information and take initiative in your learning and development plan.
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial products and services is a big plus!  This includes sound management of personal finances, too.

What’s so great about working at PVFCU?  Our employees love working with our wonderful members and coworkers; our work environment; the learning and growth opportunities that we offer; wellness activities and fun employee events; other great benefits; and supporting the credit union’s values of integrity, community, financial wisdom, and service.

Credit Assistant/Loan Processor

Part-time and Full-time Opportunities

We are looking for candidates to apply who have experience with underwriting or cash flow analysis, as well as candidates who have loan processing experience or skills.  If you have one or the other, or both, we would like to hear from you!

The credit department ensures that business and commercial loan administrative functions are efficient and accurate.  This involves managing a workflow so that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.  You would take care of all the many details in the loan process.  We also want you to build relationships with lenders and other support staff so that communication, consistency and collaboration are all working great.

To be successful in this position, you would need to be extremely detail oriented because very important documents and accurate data entry will depend on you.  You must be very organized and a self-starter in order to manage the loan process.  There’s a lot to learn, so we would want you to be a quick learner and someone who can be shown once and be counted on to do it right the next time.

We are also looking for someone who will enhance our already great work environment—someone who loves working as a team, learning new things, being creative, solving problems, working hard, and having fun while doing so.

What else does it take?

  • A college education – Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in loan processing would be a strong plus.
  • Able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills with a strong background in business math.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills so you can write and edit documents.
  • Strong skills in spreadsheets, database, and technology in general.
