Park View donated to the VMRC Good Samaritan Fund. The Fund enables VMRC to cover the costs of Complete Living Care for residents in financial need who are on Medicaid in Oak Lea, Woodland Park and Crestwood.

Park View donated to John C. Myers Elementary School's summer of 2019 Camp Jigsaw. This two week, half day camp services students identified as having Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our donation helps support and cover field trips to places such as the trout pond and bowling alley, art therapy, cooking activities, horseback riding through Camp Still Meadows and STEM and Integrated Technology activities.
Park View donated to the Family Life Resource Center's Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund allows individuals on a limited income to obtain counseling services that would otherwise not be available.
Park View donated 300 flashlights for SVAP (Shenandoah Valley Autism Partnership) to giveaway to anyone who attended the event.
Park View donated to Roberta Webb's Inaugural Panda Walk to help the Center raise funds for more affordable programs and services for children.
Park View donated to the Flip the Switch Campaign to help Gemeinschaft Home go solar. The solar array will help Gemeinschaft Home save $5,000 per year for the next 25-30 years.
Park View donated 150 silly putty eggs to the Broadway Hometown Partnership to giveaway to kids at community events.
Several Park View employees volunteered at the Color Run benefiting John C. Myers Elementary School, Lacey Springs Elementary School and Linville-Edom Elementary School.
Park View donated and collected donations during National Pet Week (May 5-May 11) to donate to the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA.
The Park View Scholarship Program was launched April 2019 in the hopes to continue improving the financial lives of our members. Our financial resources for young adults and the Scholarship Program were created to help members with early financial milestones such as going to college. Scholarships were based on academic achievement and submission of an essay on a topic selected by the Credit Union. This year’s topic was “How can Park View better appeal and serve its Generation Z members?” Winners of the award were Tate Weaver from Turner Ashby High School and Reuben Mast from Broadway High School.

Park View was the food sponsor for the Ashby Anacondas Swim Team's start of the season mock meet.
Park View sponsored and donated phone wallets to the Rocking EduTech Conference for conference organizers to give as prizes and giveaways to attendees.
Park View sponsored the Broadway Bruins game against Montezuma on June 23rd at 7:30pm. All attendees were able to attend the game free of charge.
For every foul ball that a fan brings back, Park View gives children a stress ball to play with and $0.50 to spend at the concession stand.

Park View sponsored t-shirts for John C. Myers Elementary School. Each JCMES student and faculty receive a t-shirt at the beginning of the school year. Students are encouraged to wear their shirts at events throughout the year, such as Walk to School day, which occurs each month.

The HCHC recognizes National Health Center Week in August, a celebration of the mission and accomplishments of Community Health Centers across the country. This year’s theme focuses on the ways that Community Health Centers are “Rooted in Communities.” The weeklong celebration is August 4 – 10, 2019 and will end with a Children’s Health Day on Saturday, August 10 from 9 – 12pm.
The Park View Mortgage Department attended and donated to the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Association of Realtors' Picnic benefiting Build United who works to keep homeowners in their homes and ensure safety, weatherization and accessibility to all.
Park View sponsored the ice cream at Park View Mennonite Church's Annual Block Party. This is a free event for the community.
Park View's partnership with the Explore More Museum in downtown Harrisonburg provides free admission into the museum for children and families of our community on the day of the International Festival on September 28, 2019.
On November 11, Park View employees, alongside some members, rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at eight different non-profit organizations located in Rockingham County and Harrisonburg.
At the end of the day, employees and members served a total of 385 hours of service in the community.

Park View launched a donation drive for First Step: A Response to Domestic Violence, located in Harrisonburg, VA. Employees and members were encouraged to drop off needed items at any Park View branch.
Park View donated pens, notepads, and cups as giveaways for the Memories of Elvis fundraiser, held at the Bluestone Vineyard in Bridgewater. All event proceeds benefited Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness.
Boulder Crest Retreat is open to combat veterans from any generation and conflict.

During Parent-Teacher Conferences, teachers find themselves in back-to-back meetings. To help make sure the teachers didn't go home hungry, Park View donated salad and brownies to the Wilbur S. Pence Middle School teachers (as part of the WSPMS PTO).
Park View collected new and gently worn coats as part of The Salvation Army's Share the Warmth Coat Drive.
Park View sponsored Spotswood High School's Annual Christmas Concert which allowed these talented students to be heard on WBTX 1470AM and 102.1FM.
Park View helped celebrate the Christmas spirit by sponsoring Broadway High School's Annual Christmas Concert. The sponsorship allowed the performance to be broadcasted on WBTX 1470AM and 102.1FM.
Park View sponsored Turner Ashby's Winter/Christmas concert. The concert featured the school's choirs, orchestras, and bands. The performance was broadcasted on WBTX 1470AM and 102.1FM.
Park View sponsored the broadcast of Harrisonburg High School's Christmas/Winter Concert, which featured the school's honors Choir and Symphonic Band.
Park View donated a gift basket for Plains Area Daycare Center's Silent Auction. All proceeds from the auction went to benefit the Daycare which provides affordable childcare to families regardless of income. The Daycare serves children from the Broadway/Timberville communities.
Park View donated two gift baskets for Bridgewater Methodist Church's silent auction. All proceeds from the auction went to support Central Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Park View employees, alongside Olaf, Elsa, and Anna, participated in the Bridgewater, Dayton, and Broadway Christmas parades. Their float theme was Frozen II. Employees greeted the parade attendees by giving out candy, pencils and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
Park View donated $200 to Open Doors, a homeless shelter for those in the Harrisonburg and Rockingham area. The $200 donation was able to go towards hygiene supplies, bedding supplies and the cost to host a guest for the night.
