SMS SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: November 25, 2025

By enrolling in the SMS (text message) service (“Service”) provided by Park View Federal Credit Union (Park View), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This Service is designed to provide you with important account- and loan-related updates, notifications, and reminders.

Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Park View related to your account(s) and/or loan(s). These messages may include:

  • Payment reminders and overdue payment notifications.
  • Loan application updates and servicing information.
  • Account status updates and delinquency notices.

Park View may send these messages through your communication service provider, and you agree that your provider is acting as your agent in delivering these messages.

Message Frequency and Data Rates

  • Message frequency will vary based on your account or loan activity, but will typically not exceed 1-2 messages per week, unless there is an urgent notification (e.g., overdue payment or delinquency notice).
  • Standard message and data rates may apply. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier, and Park View is not responsible for any fees incurred.

Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message.

Security and Privacy
Text messages sent to or from Park View are not encrypted. Do not send sensitive or non-public personal information via text message. Park View will never ask you to provide sensitive information (e.g., account numbers, Social Security numbers) via text. Service Limitations
The Service is provided for your convenience and does not replace your official account or loan documents, monthly statements, or other communications, which remain the primary record of your account(s) and/or loan(s).

Changes to Terms and Conditions
Park View reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or posted on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
