At Park View, we believe in preparing people for their futures.

That's why we offer scholarships to eligible students every year. Whether you're a graduating high school senior or a working adult pursing an education, we're here for you with two great scholarship options.

High School Senior Scholarship

Park View is offering two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school during the 2025–2026 academic year. Applicants must submit a written essay judged on content, creativity, and clarity.

This year's prompt: In what ways can credit unions better understand and support the financial needs and goals of your generation? Share specific ideas or strategies that could help credit unions connect with and empower young adults like you on the path to financial success.

Working Adult Scholarship

Advance your education and career goals with Park View’s $500 scholarship for full-time working professionals. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or certification program at an accredited institution during the 2025–2026 academic year. Applicants must submit a written essay judged on content, creativity, and clarity.

This year's prompt: What are the biggest challenges your generation faces in achieving financial stability, and what specific actions can credit unions take to address these challenges and empower your generation toward long-term financial success?

Who can apply?

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a Park View scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A primary member of a Park View Federal Credit Union with an account in good standing.1

  • High School Scholarship: Be a current high school senior planning to attend an accredited institution in 2025–2026.

  • Adult Scholarship: Be a full-time working professional enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or certification program in 2025–2026.

  • Write a 250–500 word essay on the topic provided.

Park View employees, committee/board members, and their immediate family are not eligible to apply for any Park View Scholarships. All eligibility requirements must be met to be awarded a scholarship.

How it Works

Scholarship Application Process

  • Step Number 1

    Apply

    Submit the scholarship application online by March 31, 2025.

  • Step Number 2

    Selection Process

    A selection committee of Park View staff will review each application. The committee will meet as soon as possible after the application deadline to review and assess all applications. 

  • Step Number 3

    Recognition

    Recipients will be notified once decisions are made in April. Scholarship winners may be invited to visit a Park View branch for a photo opportunity to be featured on our website and social media.

Scholarship Frequently Asked Questions

Park View offers two types of scholarships:

  • High School Senior Scholarship: Two one-time scholarships of $500 each for graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school.
  • Working Adult Scholarship: One $500 one-time scholarship for a full-time working professional currently enrolled, either full- or part-time, in an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school.

Applications open annually on February 1 and close March 31.

Selection is based on a written essay evaluated for content, creativity, and clarity.

Once applications open on February 1, you can apply online through the application link for each scholarship.

No, only primary members of a Park View Federal Credit Union account in good standing are eligible to apply. Students of parents with accounts do not qualify. Students may open their own account in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

No, transcripts or grades are not required to apply for Park View scholarships.

Scholarship funds are awarded as a one-time payment directly to the recipient. Specific details on disbursement will be provided to the winners upon notification.
