At Park View Federal Credit Union, our commitment extends beyond financial services. We believe in empowering our members to achieve their educational aspirations, and one way we do this is through our annual scholarship program.
Every year, we are pleased to award three (3) $500 scholarships to two graduating high school seniors and one full-time working professional. To apply, applicants must write an essay that is judged on content, clarity, and creativity. This year, applicants were asked to write about “The difference between a credit union and a bank.”
It brings us immense pleasure to announce that Park View Federal Credit Union has recently awarded three $500 scholarships to exceptional individuals who will embark on their college journey in the fall of 2023.
Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship Recipients!
Brent Harper – A senior at Broadway High School, Brent is set to pursue Engineering at West Virginia University.
Abigail Garber – A senior at Eastern Mennonite School, Abigail is bound for Wellesley College to major in Political Science.
Denise Martin – Denise, the recipient of the adult scholarship for working professionals, is presently enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University, pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership.
These three outstanding individuals embody the credit union philosophy. We take immense pride in honoring Brent, Abigail, and Denise and extend our warmest congratulations to them for this remarkable achievement.
