Park View Federal Credit Union Scholarship Recipients Announced for 2025

At Park View Federal Credit Union, we believe in the power of education and the importance of investing in our members’ futures. That’s why each year, we offer scholarship opportunities to help students and working professionals take the next step on their educational journey.

We are excited to announce the recipients of the 2025 Park View Federal Credit Union Scholarships—three outstanding individuals who were selected for their academic potential, thoughtful essays, and commitment to personal and professional growth.

Supporting Education Through Scholarships

Our college scholarship program for credit union members is designed to assist students pursuing degrees at accredited colleges, universities, or technical/trade schools. Each year, Park View awards:

  • Two $500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors
  • One $500 scholarship to a full-time working professional

To be eligible, applicants must be members of Park View and submit an essay judged on content, clarity, and creativity.

Meet the 2025 Park View Scholarship Winners

Risha Metzler – Adult Scholarship Winner
Risha Metzler is pursuing a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Josiah Wickline – High School Scholarship Recipient
A graduating senior planning to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, Josiah will be studying Nursing.

Yohann Malvaez – High School Scholarship Recipient
Yohann is preparing to attend Virginia Tech, where he will study Engineering.
